2017 Summer Reading Program

Read books!  Attend events!  Win prizes!  You can help us Build a Better World this summer by signing up for our summer reading program beginning June 5th. Please redeem your reading bookmarks for prizes by August 21st when the program ends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All builders and creators are welcome!  FREE hands on projects every Wednesday afternoon at 1 PM.

 

 

 

ALL-AGES WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

TUESDAYS | 11 AM | LIBRARY LAWN

These FREE activities will range from guest speakers, to service projects, to learning self-defense, and giveaways!  Our first activity will feature local favorite, Dale Boman as he helps us Build a Better World by making us LAUGH!

 

FREE LUNCH

TUESDAYS | 12 PM | LIBRARY LAWN

Fuel up for Summer!  Kids can eat a tasty bagged lunch.  While supplies last.

 

STORYTIMES

MONDAYS | 11 AM | UNDER THE TREE

We’ll smile, read, and sing together with Ms. Tischner as we get ready for Kindergarten.

TUESDAYS | 1 PM | UNDER THE TREE

Join Ms. Peterson for songs, jokes, and stories carefully chosen to excite young minds.

THURSDAYS (4th) | 4 PM | UNDER THE TREE

Sensory Storytime for children with special needs.  These storytimes by Ms. Badger will be interactive, visual and welcoming to all learners.

 

READ TO A SERVICE DOG

THURSDAYS | 2:30 – 3 PM | UNDER THE TREE

MJ, Salem City’s Police Dog loves to be read to.  Sign-ups start now at the Library.  Reading to a dog is great practice!

 

Get your FREE NASA viewing glasses at the Library.
